Role Overview

The Supervisor, Nuclear Manufacturing position at Cardinal Health's AZ-Phoenix PET site is a pivotal leadership role on the 3rd shift (flexible hours around 4:00 am – 1:00 pm, varying by 4 hours). You'll lead a small team in manufacturing PET radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities

As Supervisor, you'll drive daily operations with precision:

• Oversee and supervise a small team in the manufacturing of PET radiopharmaceuticals, coordinating daily activities.
• Review and manage site budget and P&L, working within financial objectives to optimize profit drivers.
• Oversee cGMP and NRC regulatory compliance programs at the site level, ensuring all processes meet stringent standards.
• Conduct effective presentations to diverse audiences, including internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Make tough decisions by weighing pros and cons, coaching subordinates in decision-making, and fostering a positive team environment.
• Build customer relationships, interpret needs, and leverage insights for innovative solutions.
• Resolve routine problems using defined processes and brainstorm team solutions focused on operational excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate:

• Bachelor of Science degree in a scientific discipline (preferred).
• Minimum 2+ years of related work experience in a regulated environment (preferred).
• Proven success in managing people and leading teams; management/supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to present, listen, and explain complex issues.
• Knowledge of reviewing and managing P&L statements.
• Physical requirements: Frequent lifting of 50-75 lbs, manual dexterity for equipment operation, ability to see fine particulates and differentiate colors, clear English communication.
• Must be able to work nights on a flex 3rd shift.
