Role Overview

The Supply Chain Integration Director, Protein, based in Chicago, Illinois, is a pivotal leadership role within PepsiCo Beverages US. This position shapes and executes the long-term supply chain strategy for the Value Added Protein (VAP) portfolio, including Muscle Milk and other protein innovations. Reporting to and partnering with the Sr. Manager, VAP, you will lead end-to-end program execution across cross-functional teams to drive innovation, commercialization, capacity building, cost reduction, business continuity, and sustainability. This is an opportunity for a seasoned supply chain expert to influence PepsiCo's growth in the high-demand protein beverage sector, leveraging expertise in dairy and ultra-filtered milk supply chains.

  • Enabling growth through execution of PepsiCo’s innovation and commercial pipelines using end-to-end program management, agile methodologies, and the PepsiCo Operating Model.
  • Leading the development and implementation of short-, mid-, and long-term supply chain strategies for protein products, including sourcing, network/capacity planning, and capability development.
  • Owning integrated commercialization plans by defining critical paths, managing dependencies, and building contingency plans to safeguard launch dates and service levels.
  • Providing expert analysis on supply chain feasibility, manufacturing readiness (internal and contract), logistics, and fill-rate impacts.
  • Partnering with Supply Chain Strategy, Procurement, Planning, and Replenishment to align capacity and sourcing with growth and resiliency goals.
  • Driving high-quality decision-making, surfacing risks, leading mitigations, and ensuring smooth transitions to replenishment with performance monitoring.
  • Capturing learnings to continuously improve commercialization processes and ways of working.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical or process-oriented discipline such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Food Science.
  • Demonstrated experience in dairy manufacturing and ultra-filtered milk (UFM) supply chains, including knowledge of pasteurized milk regulations.
  • Proven expertise leading end-to-end commercialization in matrixed environments, collaborating with R&D, Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Sales, Distribution, and Go-To-Market teams.
  • Strong program/project management skills, including governance, action tracking, conflict resolution, and decision facilitation.
  • A track record of delivering complex initiatives in fast-paced, highly matrixed organizations, with commercial and operational savvy, exceptional communication, and problem-solving abilities.
