Position Summary
As Supply Chain Manager reporting to the Plant Manager in Bradford, UK, you will secure sources of recovered paper, optimize supply plans for regional paper mills, and ensure cost-effective material flow. Collaborate with mill managers, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain top-quality standards, manage downgrades, and drive operational efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead capacity management via Sales and Operations Planning, authorize production schedules, and balance demand with MRP logic. Develop supply chain processes, control inventory and working capital, and manage warehouse operations including on-site/off-site stock and FLT contracts. Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, staff training, and discipline. Chair daily meetings, track KPIs, and confidently present performance to customers. Work with purchasing to eliminate costs through consignment and substitutes, resolving issues proactively with IT systems.

You'll foster relationships across Customer Service, Sales, and Production, ensuring on-time delivery, perfect orders, and optimal stock levels for seasonal demands. Prepare weekly commitments, customer stock orders, and maintain BOM accuracy to support business goals.
