Key Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Specialist I, your day-to-day will involve hands-on supply chain execution to support Behr's production facilities. Primary duties include:

  • Purchasing raw materials, packaging, and finished goods from suppliers to align with plant production schedules.

  • Maintaining purchase order status and building strong, professional relationships with suppliers.
  • Collaborating with production, quality, and Accounts Payable teams to resolve discrepancies, quality non-conformances, and invoice issues.
  • Analyzing inventory metrics like age, balance, and coverage for finished goods, packaging, and raw materials, then reporting insights.
  • Assisting in production planning, product transfers between facilities, and ensuring timely receipts/shipments.
  • Performing root cause analysis on discrepancies and recommending process improvements.
  • Updating SAP master data for pricing and sourcing changes.
