The Sustainability Analytics and AI Manager role in PepsiCo's Global Sustainability Office is pivotal for transforming complex sustainability data into dynamic products that accelerate pep+ goals. Based in Plano, Texas (with options in Purchase, NY), this onsite position goes beyond dashboards, using cutting-edge AI tools like pepGPT, AI for BI, and agentic AI orchestration to streamline reporting for ESG standards including GRI, SASB, TCFD, and CDP. You'll manage a small team, ensure data integrity, and deliver predictive insights for leadership decisions, supporting PepsiCo's ambition to win sustainably in the marketplace.
Forge strong collaborations with sustainability subject matter experts (SMEs) to master methodologies for Positive Agriculture and Positive Value Chain pillars. Own the end-to-end vision and roadmap for sustainability data products, aligning with voluntary ESG reporting and regulatory demands.
Design and manage scalable pipelines on platforms like Enterprise Data Foundation (EDF) and emerging AI tools. Implement data quality controls for accuracy, reliability, and completeness, remediating issues with data owners.
Oversee predictive models for granular insights. Present analytics in leadership reviews, manage a team of 3-5 analysts, and deliver timely data for global reports like the annual ESG Performance Metrics report.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Sustainability, Data Science, or related fields is required. Bring 5+ years of experience defining data objectives with stakeholders, managing KPI collection, validation, and reporting. Expertise in data integration, analytics, and AI—including agentic frameworks, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and prompt engineering—is essential. Plus, 2+ years leading small teams of 2-4 members.
Experience with sustainability data in energy, water, agriculture, packaging, and Scope 1-3 emissions is highly valued. Knowledge of pep+ pillars and ESG frameworks will set you apart in this role.
PepsiCo offers a total rewards package that supports your well-being and financial security. The base salary range is $110,700 - $185,250 USD, adjusted for location, skills, experience, and education. Eligible for a 12% annual performance bonus.
