As a CDL B Delivery Truck Driver at Sysco FreshPoint Nashville, you will be the face of our company to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently deliver fresh produce to restaurants, hotels, and other foodservice establishments throughout the Nashville area. Your day typically begins early, with a pre-trip inspection of your truck to ensure it's in safe operating condition. You'll then load your truck with the day's deliveries, carefully organizing the product to prevent damage during transit. At each stop, you'll unload the product, verify the order with the customer, and obtain a signature. Throughout the day, you'll communicate with dispatch to report any issues or delays. At the end of your route, you'll return to the distribution center, unload any remaining product, and complete a post-trip inspection of your truck.
