Role Overview

A Day in the Life

Your day typically starts early, between 12 AM and 3 AM, at our FreshPoint Connecticut facility. You'll begin by performing a pre-trip inspection of your truck, ensuring it's safe and ready for the road. Then, you'll pick up a loaded truck from the assigned loading dock, carefully reviewing your route and delivery schedule.

Throughout the day, you'll navigate your route, making frequent stops to deliver products to various customer locations in New York City. This involves unloading products using a hand truck and placing them in designated storage areas, which may require navigating ramps, stairs, or docks in various weather conditions.

You'll interact with customers, verifying the accuracy of deliveries and obtaining signatures. You'll also handle any customer complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently. Throughout the day, you'll maintain communication with management, reporting any issues or discrepancies.
