  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, and Revenue Management teams.
  • Act as a category expert, providing training, product information, regulatory guidance, and market cost guidance to internal and external customers.
  • Align with SSMG teams to execute category strategies.
  • Identify business development opportunities and coordinate with sales teams to propose new business.
  • Ensure compliance with SSMG standard assortment and identify on-going assortment related opportunities.
  • Analyze data and market insights to understand consumer needs and wants.
  • Research competitors and suggest appropriate pricing strategies.
  • Manage site-specific market cost decisions on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Revenue Management Director and Regional VP of Merchandising to provide customer-specific pricing for key regional customers.
  • Communicate with corporate-led beef replenishment teams about products and strategies.
  • Provide field feedback on strategies, including advising on marketing materials to improve sales.
  • Provide the planning team with forecasts for product demand trends.
