  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts.
  • Perform ongoing review, investigation, and correction to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and intercompany accounts.
  • Investigate and present solutions for any related discrepancies.
  • Perform intercompany consolidation and monthly settlement of intercompany transactions.
  • Monitor compliance with Sysco’s policies, procedures, and accounting standards (e.g., SOX, FAMM).
  • Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
  • Maintain fixed assets sub-ledger and reporting and ensure all fixed asset transactions are submitted to the fixed asset system on a timely basis.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reporting for internal, Corporate office, and external reporting.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for internal departments; provide accurate and timely information and support to the Manager, Financial Analysis and Reporting and Corporate Controller.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Finance Team to achieve overall operating objectives.
  • Conduct ad hoc projects as required.
  • Comply with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality, and legality requirements are met.
  • Work safely with minimal environmental impact and report all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
