- Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.
- Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and intercompany accounts.
- Investigate and present solutions for any related discrepancies.
- Perform intercompany consolidation and monthly settlement of intercompany transactions.
- Monitor compliance with Sysco’s policies, procedures, and accounting standards (e.g., SOX, FAMM).
- Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
- Maintain fixed assets sub-ledger and reporting and ensure all fixed asset transactions are submitted to the fixed asset system on a timely basis.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reporting for internal, Corporate office, and external reporting.
- Act as a subject matter expert for internal departments; provide accurate and timely information and support to the Manager, Financial Analysis and Reporting and Corporate Controller.
- Collaborate with other members of the Finance Team to achieve overall operating objectives.
- Conduct ad hoc projects as required.
- Comply with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality, and legality requirements are met.
- Work safely with minimal environmental impact and report all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
