Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a Retail Sales environment. (experience)
• Social Media platform management experience (preferred). (experience)
• Progressive leadership experience managing a team. (experience)
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate others. (experience)
• High School diploma required. (experience)
• Completion of post-secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred. (experience)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. (experience)
• Knowledge of cash sales and point-of-sale equipment. (experience)
• Exceptional communication skills for dealing with retail customers. (experience)
• Proven effective communication skills with all levels of the organization. (experience)
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, Intranet. (experience)
• Must be detail-oriented and a fast learner. (experience)
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. (experience)

Responsibilities

• Oversight for Retail Store and Fin’s at Home (sales, margin, and social media management).
• Provide support and work alongside the team as a working supervisor.
• Motivate and develop a team of Retail Sales Associates, including training support on Sysco related systems and programs.
• Meet or exceed assigned metrics for retail sales and timeliness.
• Manage retail sales and handle cash.
• Process payments using POS machines for debit and credit.
• Manage issues and complaints to quick and satisfactory resolution.
• Assist customers with questions related to seafood products.
• Perform opening and closing duties for the retail store.
• Maintain a clean work environment in compliance with Sysco standards.
• Work closely with the sales team and Operations to maintain inventory levels and provide seamless service to customers.
• Manage and maintain accountability regarding processes and streamline workflow of the department.
• Ensure incoming calls/emails/customer communications are handled in a professional and timely manner.
• Follow up with customers directly as needed for support and extra customer care.
• Responsible for compliance with all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) comprising Sysco’s Food Safety Program.
• Assist Food Safety Program Manager in ensuring compliance to Sysco’s Food Safety Program.
• Drive Environmental, Health and Safety performance by acting as an example and holding the team accountable.
• Enable, champion, and embrace an inclusive culture.
• Develop and support high-performing talent through hiring, scheduling, performance coaching, and career management practices.
• Facilitate the establishment of clear performance goals and adapt them to changing business demands.
• Identify and manage non-performers in a fair and timely manner.
• Communicate the company's vision, direction, goals, performance, changes, and expectations.
• Manage social media channels
• Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies as necessary.
