System Engineer will be responsible for engineering, Design and configuration of Substation Automation Systems/Microgrid, PPC and Loadshedding schemes used across various voltage levels in India for variety of customers that include Central/State/Private Utilities, Industries and Infrastructure power systems.
The incumbent will be responsible for the project lifecycle that include the various project phases like Understanding the client requirement, Preparation of detail design/documentation/calculations, Approval of design/documentations from customer, ordering the required material to the factory and support to Project Management/Factory/Commissioning team for successful execution of the Project.
Job Description
• Preparation of various types of System Architecture based on system requirements.
• Preparation and validation of BOM, GA, schematics, Architecture & Configurations.
• Strong Knowledge of communication and networking protocol.
• Knowledge of application like Microgrid, PPC or Load Shedding.
• Configuration Support for Microgrid, PPC and Loadshedding Projects.
• Knowledge on different serial and ethernet based protocol used in Substation Automation System.
• Should have knowledge of networking topologies (Ring, HSR, PRP etc.)
• Discussion with customer for drawing approval/resolution of query.
• Understanding of Protection SLD’s, Trip matrix, interlocking logics etc. as per customer specification/requirements.
• Understanding of Control and protection schematic for various power system equipment.
• Preparation of FAT/SAT/GTP/TTR/FDS/HEAT LOAD documents.
Eligibility criteria / Skill Sets
• B. Tech / B.E in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 6 - 10 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on Experience in Microgrid, PPC, AGC and Loadshedding shall be preferred.
• Knowledge of Siemens configuration tools: SIMATIC WINCC/SCC, Toolbox, Device Manager, DIGSI.
• Has good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skill.
• Fast learner and able to work independently or as a team player.
• Able to work under minimum or less supervision.
• Shall have good knowledge of Windows, Servers, MS Office etc.
• E Base software knowledge will be added advantage.
