The Sr Process Governance Analyst, Opex, Target Plus (T+) will have the responsibility for delivering operational excellence by driving continuous improvement and process optimization for our T+ organization. Your success in the role will be determined by your ability to collaborate and partner with various cross functional teams within and outside Target plus and deliver outcomes taking into account the upstream and downstream complexities. You will enable the T+ strategy and vision implementing lean operating principles, systems, and tools. You will be a catalyst to drive successful business outcomes.

You will play a key role in defining process best practices, driving process improvements as well as product integration that will enable the business teams to operate efficiently and effectively.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Operations:

  • Use the proven and acclaimed methods and practices of Six Sigma to develop and implement process improvements across Target Plus: Lead and manage process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Create and improve training materials and discover efficiencies that help team members do their best work using the defined standardized best practices: Responsible to design and implement best practices, communication, training, tools, and other resources to enable process stability and sustainability.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of comprehensive process documentation- Ensure all process documents are accessible.
  • Design and deliver process training programs for team members as well as assess training effectiveness: Training – deliver training to all levels, as an Operational Excellence Expert and a Subject matter Expert
  • Shape processes and solutions for the future while delivering improved business outcomes in collaboration with various global partners across US and India
  • Deliver Operational Excellence through people, process and technology via continuous improvement: Process optimization by Implementation of process standardization, process streamlining and automation.
  • Collaborate with technology and data analytics teams on discovery, design and roll out of various reporting, applications and tools to generate value for the T+ team.
  • Support work streams as part of process diagnostics and design to identify impactful opportunities for operational improvements across end-to-end value streams.
  • Drive influence without authority – lead small and large groups (junior to senior management)
  • Take a hands-on approach to ensure the diagnostic, design and implementation of Lean tools within the business is performed to a high standard and consistency.

About you:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of overall experience, preferably in retail with a minimum of 5 years with OPEX roles
  • Broad retail merchandising, marketing, and operations experience with proven ability to drive results within a Matrix Organization
  • Proven experience in process governance, process improvement with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal as well as written, together with storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Possess Strong cognitive skills with the ability to demonstrate courage, think critically, and drive results.
  • Structured problem-solving skills (such as Lean/ Six Sigma) with application experience of process improvement tools & techniques
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems, analyze complex processes, synthesize data and results, and deliver insights and solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive complex projects and lead and coach other project team members.
  • Ability to develop partnerships to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders as well as be a change agent with the ability to influence change without authority.
  • Have an understanding on how various products/ technologies interact with each other. “System architecture”
