As Tax Supervisor for Serbia and Bosnia & Herzegovina at PepsiCo in Belgrade, Serbia, you will lead tax management and compliance across two key markets. This full-time role demands expertise in corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and transfer pricing, ensuring seamless adherence to local and international standards. Reporting to finance leadership, you will handle independent tax preparations, coordinate with external experts, and provide advisory support. With line management of one team member, this position offers a blend of technical depth and leadership in a dynamic international production environment. Ideal for seasoned tax professionals passionate about precision and regulatory evolution in the Food & Beverage sector.
Oversee all tax processes for Serbia and Bosnia & Herzegovina, including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and transfer pricing. Deliver independent preparation, review, and validation of VAT returns, monthly, annual, and periodic obligations.
Ensure full compliance with applicable tax, finance, e-invoicing, and archiving legislation. Proactively monitor and implement changes in tax and accounting regulations to keep PepsiCo ahead of the curve.
Partner with external tax advisors, auditors, and authorities. Coordinate income tax calculations and transfer pricing studies, while preparing statutory financial statements per local laws and IFRS.
Manage external audits by preparing documentation and communicating effectively. Participate in tax audits and inspections, and offer expert advice to finance and management on tax and accounting matters.
Line manage and develop one team member, focusing on work organization, mentoring, and quality control.
To excel as PepsiCo's Tax Supervisor, candidates need a university degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Legal. Require 5-7 years of experience in tax and accounting/finance, preferably in an international production setting. Deep local tax knowledge in Serbia and Bosnia & Herzegovina is essential, alongside excellent command of IFRS and local accounting standards. Proven experience in statutory financial statements and external auditor collaboration is key. Desirable: small team management. Additional must-haves include advanced computer skills, fluent English, collaborative self-motivation, and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.
