Key Responsibilities

In this leadership role, you'll oversee end-to-end T&E and AP Helpdesk operations. Key duties include developing and implementing global T&E policies, ensuring SOX compliance, and educating your team on best practices. You'll manage corporate card programs with AMEX/BOA, support Expensify/Navan systems, and handle reconciliations for ledger accuracy. Expect to compile accrual reports, perform variance analysis, manage prepaid expenses, and support month-end close activities. As a change agent, you'll lead process improvement projects using methodologies like Six Sigma, implement automation for cost savings, and deliver measurable outcomes in productivity and efficiency. Serve as the go-to expert for stakeholders, resolving issues swiftly within SLAs while fostering a culture of operational excellence.

Leadership and Team Management

Directly manage a team of 10-15+ AP professionals, driving team development, reducing turnover, and boosting productivity metrics. Provide clear vision, mentorship, and performance guidance in a shared services environment.

Process Optimization

Identify root causes of discrepancies, enhance workflows, and integrate system enhancements to streamline AP operations globally.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, you need an Accounting or Finance degree with 10+ years managing T&E teams in a Shared Service environment, including 5+ years directly leading 10-15+ AP professionals. Demonstrate proven leadership with achievements like improved productivity, reduced turnover, and successful development initiatives. Bring hands-on expertise in AP/AR processes, journal entries, variance analysis, financial reporting, corporate card reconciliations, month-end closes, prepaid expense management, and amortization. Experience with ERP systems, Expensify/Navan (preferred), and SOX compliance in a public company is essential. Showcase a track record in process improvements, automation, and Six Sigma methodologies. Strong problem-solving, analytical mindset, communication skills, and adaptability in fast-paced settings are non-negotiable. Be a self-starter ready to influence across levels.
