Role Overview

Join CrowdStrike's procurement organization as Team Lead, Procurement in Pune, India, on the night shift (3PM - 12AM IST). This dynamic role blends hands-on procurement execution with team leadership in our fast-paced SaaS environment. You'll manage and develop a team of buyers while driving strategic sourcing, stakeholder management, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

Hands-on Procurement Execution

Personally lead high-value, complex sourcing projects, executing strategic negotiations with key suppliers. Manage the full Procure-to-Pay lifecycle for critical categories, resolve escalated issues, and serve as the SME for senior-level decisions. Drive compliance, automation, and digital transformation while optimizing KPIs for operational excellence.

Advanced Category Management

Develop strategies across Data Centre, Consulting, Marketing, and Software categories. Conduct market analysis, build supplier relationships, and lead vendor summits and reviews for global suppliers.

Commodity Management & Strategic Analysis

Leverage expertise in spend analysis, market benchmarking, and competitive pricing to identify cost savings. Collaborate with department heads on demand forecasting, supplier diversification, and total cost of ownership models.

Contract & Risk Management

Oversee negotiations, risk assessments, and compliance. Develop templates, playbooks, and lead vendor performance escalations and business continuity planning.

Team Leadership & Strategic Presentations

Mentor 3-5 Buyers, conduct reviews, and drive team performance. Deliver executive presentations, lead QBRs, and represent procurement in cross-functional meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, you need a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, with 6-8 years of procurement experience, including 2-3 years in management roles. A proven track record managing high-performing teams in SaaS/technology industries is essential. Expertise in commodity management, spend analysis, strategic sourcing, and vendor negotiations is required. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and presentation skills are key, along with familiarity with procurement metrics, automation, and digital tools. Experience in cybersecurity or tech sectors is highly valued.
