Key Responsibilities at Datadog

• Advise on technical support and accelerate Datadog product adoption across pre-sales, post-sales, and renewal cycles.
• Conduct regular analysis of customer IT Operations environments and deliver actionable recommendations to maximize Datadog value.
• Serve as the customer's primary advocate, mapping their goals to optimized processes, configurations, and advanced features.
• Lead preparation and execution of Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with enterprise stakeholders.
• Partner with Datadog's product management, engineering, and technical services teams to influence new observability features.
• Drive continuous improvement in best practices for technical product adoption and customer success metrics.
• Provide expert guidance on Datadog's comprehensive monitoring, APM, security, and log management suite.
• Travel up to 30% to client sites, delivering high-impact hands-on support (up to 4 hours seated sessions).
• Translate complex IT Operations challenges into tangible business outcomes for C-level executives.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as a Technical Account Manager at Datadog, you need proven expertise in modern cloud ecosystems:

• Hands-on IT Operations experience with a deep technical foundation.
• Confidence in AWS, Azure, or GCP – real-world implementation and troubleshooting.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, Go, PHP, or configuration tools like Chef/Puppet.
• Strong skills in CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab, or equivalent pipelines.
• Knowledge of containerization with Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, or similar orchestration platforms.
• Prior TAM experience supporting mid-market or Enterprise customers in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Datadog or comparable cloud monitoring solutions like New Relic or Dynatrace.
