The Technical Instructional Designer – Revenue Enablement role in Sunnyvale, California, is pivotal in scaling technical fluency for sales engineers, partners, and alliances. Reporting to the Director of Technical Enablement, you'll translate complex product capabilities and field requirements into structured, scalable learning programs. While deep technical expertise isn't mandatory, strong acumen and rapid learning of cybersecurity concepts are essential. Ideal candidates bring experience from sales engineering or technical pre-sales, focusing on instructional design, curriculum architecture, and learner experience. Partner with SMEs, course writers, and developers to create technically accurate, engaging training across eLearning, ILT, VILT, labs, and more. This foundational role ensures our enablement programs drive real-world execution and breach prevention through the Falcon platform.
In this role, you'll design high-impact learning experiences that boost retention, confidence, and field application. Key responsibilities include:
To succeed, you'll need proven experience designing training for technical audiences like sales engineers or partners. Essential qualifications include:
Bonus points for technical acumen, prior sales engineering experience, SaaS/cybersecurity background, applied learning design (labs/simulations), and familiarity with platforms like Highspot, Docebo, or Articulate.
