The Technical Leader – Plant Warehouse Engineering position in Plano, Texas, is a senior-level role within PepsiCo's Supply Chain Transformation & Engineering (SCTE) team. This position demands innovative expertise in FLNA and PFNA critical technologies and business processes, enabling rapid commercialization of new initiatives, preventing repeated mistakes, and providing field teams with essential support. You'll source, develop, and implement solutions for large capital projects focused on automation, capacity expansion, productivity, and maintenance strategies. Managing up to two direct reports, you'll ensure optimal asset performance across plant warehouses, partnering with sites and headquarters to deliver consumer smiles through reliable supply chain operations.
Your work will center on delivering ready-now automation technologies to new and legacy sites, prioritizing warehouse maintenance for obsolescence and end-of-life equipment, preventing outages via audits and service agreements, and expanding capacity with new warehouses, dock doors, and parking solutions. In this role, you'll drive technical excellence across project lifecycles. Responsibilities include developing and supporting automation design, installation, startup, and post-startup for S+D Engineering projects. You'll partner closely with S+D Technical Leaders, Project Managers, Warehouse Modernization, Operations COEs, IT, Asset Strategy, and Campus Planning to provide detailed technical input, ensuring projects meet desired metrics. Review project drawings for consistency and standards adherence, drive resolutions to technical challenges, validate engineering designs, and lead Lessons Learned processes. Support vendor strategies to enhance quality and cut costs, develop new company standards, proactively identify risks, and contribute to proposals, scoping, cost estimation, and scheduling. Actively engage in the FLNA Community, participate in recruiting, and deliver innovative, cost-competitive solutions to complex problems. Additional technical functions and management of up to two direct reports may apply.
