Key Responsibilities

As Technical Process Engineer, your core duties include:

• Championing safety through observations, close call reporting, and zero-injury goals.
• Mastering paper-making chemistry, collaborating with suppliers to optimize additions, and trialing innovations.
• Managing COSHH assessments, chemical inventories, and legionella control as deputy Responsible Person.
• Supporting Environmental and Quality Management Systems via audits, investigations, corrective actions, and policy updates.
• Tracking KPIs such as productivity, environmental performance, quality, scrap reduction, and minor stops.
• Participating in SPS/TPM and process improvement projects to boost efficiency.

Measurables and Impact

Success is measured by productivity targets and KPIs including production volume, quality metrics, and environmental compliance, ensuring tangible contributions to mill performance.

Required Qualifications

• A strong background in chemistry, ideally with paper or manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with COSHH, legionella management, and regulatory compliance.
