Technical Project Manager

full-timePosted: Jan 13, 2026

Job Description

Siemens is one of the largest and most successful electrical engineering and electronics organisations in the world. Operating across many different industry sectors, our technology products and services touch almost all our lives in some way every day of the year. Join us and discover how you can make a difference.

Every building starts at a different point on the sustainability journey – this creates unique sets of efficiency challenges and opportunities. From public entities to global enterprises, Siemens designs and implements building efficiency, security and sustainability improvement programs that are commensurate with the organization’s own constraints and goals.

We are seeking a technically strong person to lead the delivery of engineering (BMS) projects within our BAU operations. This role is ideal for an experienced BMS engineer or commissioning specialist ready to transition their deep technical expertise into a project management and leadership position.

You will take ownership of the full lifecycle of BMS projects, ensuring technically robust, compliant, and high-quality outcomes while meeting programme, budget, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the technical execution of Siemens BMS projects, applying expert knowledge in system design, programming, and commissioning to deliver reliable and compliant solutions.
• Proactively manage technical risks, troubleshoot complex system issues, and drive successful project outcomes from a deeply informed engineering perspective.
• Take increasing ownership of end-to-end BMS project lifecycles, transitioning technical strengths into structured project management and leadership responsibilities.
• Champion efficient project delivery, maintaining strict adherence to timelines, budgets, and uncompromising quality standards across all BMS installations and upgrades.
• Identify opportunities for system optimisation, implement best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Siemens BMS delivery processes.
• Act as the key interface between technical teams, clients, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, aligned expectations, and high client satisfaction.
• Manage projects from initial scope definition and technical specification through commissioning, validation, and final client handover.

To be successful in this role you will have a strong background in BMS engineering and commissioning (some Siemens experience would be highly advantageous). A proven ability to resolve complex technical challenges in live building environments, with experience or strong ambition to move into a Project Management role. A solid understanding of project delivery within BAU operations, coupled with strong communication, and stakeholder management skills. You must be committed to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

This is a great opportunity to grow into a senior technical leadership role working on complex, high-value Siemens BMS projects. Be part of a team that values engineering excellence and best-practice delivery, and an organisation that provides a clear pathway from technical expertise to structured project management.

Our success is underpinned by the sustainable value we bring to our customers, and we do this through our products, services, solutions, and our people. Siemens offers an environment where high performance is rewarded and avenues for growth encouraged and nurtured.

Siemens is a proud equal opportunity employer, creating a work environment of diversity and inclusion. Our diverse workforce cultivates Innovation and Excellence and in turn creates a workplace where our employees belong and prosper. Diversity and inclusion help us fully realise the potential of our people. As part of Siemens Ownership culture, Siemens also genuinely supports reasonable flexible working practices that empower our employees to best meet work and personal commitments.
