SIMATIC PCS 7 Trainer & Technical Support Specialist at Siemens LLC

About the vacancy
  • Location: Almaty office
  • Relocation at employer's expense: Not covered
  • Employment: Full-time
  • Vacation: 32 days
  • Working schedule: 5 days per week in the office

Responsibilities
  • Conducting training courses for customers and partners on SIMATIC PCS 7 at the Siemens office in Almaty.
  • Delivering training sessions in Russian.
  • Preparing and updating training materials and course content for SIMATIC PCS 7.
  • Providing technical support and expert advice to customers and partners regarding SIMATIC PCS 7 solutions.
  • Participating in trainer development programs and certifications, which will be provided by Siemens (training conducted in English).
  • Managing the logistics and setup for training courses (expected 6 to 12 courses per year, each lasting 2 weeks).

Requirements
  • Work experience: At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SIMATIC PCS 7, preferably in a training, engineering, or technical support role.
  • Education: Higher education in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Control Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Additional certification: Siemens SIMATIC PCS 7 certifications are highly desirable; certifications in industrial automation or control systems are a plus.
  • Mandatory language skills: Fluent Russian (for training delivery); mandatory knowledge of English not lower than Upper-Intermediate (for internal training and documentation). Knowledge of Kazakh language will be a significant advantage.
  • Mandatory computer skills: Proficiency with SIMATIC PCS 7 engineering tools (e.g., PCS 7 Engineering Station, OS Engineering), general IT literacy, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Mandatory technical / professional skills and knowledge:
  • In-depth knowledge of SIMATIC PCS 7, including system architecture, configuration, engineering, operation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging technical training programs.
  • Experience in providing technical support and resolving complex issues related to industrial control systems.
  • Understanding of industrial automation processes and industry standards.
