Join Datadog as a Technical Support Engineer 2, Premier in our Denver, Colorado office and become a key player in helping Premier Customers maximize their cloud observability success. As Datadog's in-house product experts, our Technical Solutions team drives worldwide growth by educating prospects and ensuring customer happiness. Premier Support Engineers (PSEs) handle technical questions through standard support channels while engaging in cadence calls, demos, conferences, and innovative side projects. Work directly with our elite Premier Customer base in a fast-paced, hybrid environment that challenges you daily and showcases your immediate impact on Datadog and our customers.

Key Responsibilities at Datadog

  • Troubleshoot complex technical requests via phone, chat, and tickets on our high-velocity Premier support team while educating customers on advanced Datadog platform usage
  • Build strategic relationships with Premier Customers, gaining deep understanding of their unique cloud environments and observability needs
  • Reproduce and resolve issues across Datadog's 700+ integrations spanning AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and enterprise applications
  • Create technical documentation and knowledge base articles covering cutting-edge monitoring technologies and best practices
  • Drive product roadmap conversations by identifying customer pain points and feature requests during support interactions
  • Lead regular health check meetings to proactively optimize customer Datadog deployments and observability maturity
  • Deliver demos and presentations showcasing Datadog's cloud-native monitoring capabilities to technical audiences
  • Collaborate on innovation projects including conference participation and internal tool development
  • Master multi-channel support across ticketing systems, live chat, and voice channels simultaneously

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2+ years multi-channel technical support experience at a SaaS company, preferably in Premium/Enterprise roles
  • Hands-on programming experience with basic Linux administration skills

  • Client-centric critical thinker who balances independent decision-making with appropriate escalations
  • Self-motivated continuous learner comfortable with rotating schedules including weekend availability
