Role Overview

Join Datadog as a Technical Support Engineer 2, Premier - EMEA and become the technical backbone for our most valued Premier Customers. Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands or Dublin, Ireland, you'll work directly with enterprise clients using Datadog's industry-leading cloud monitoring and security platform. As a Premier Support Engineer (PSE), you'll handle complex technical inquiries, deliver personalized demos, and drive customer success in a fast-paced, hybrid office environment requiring 3-5 days onsite weekly.

Datadog's Technical Solutions team powers global growth by ensuring customers maximize their Datadog observability stack - from infrastructure monitoring and APM to log management and security. This role offers immediate impact, working hand-in-hand with engineering teams and Premier Customers across EMEA to solve real-world cloud challenges.

Key Responsibilities at Datadog

  • Multi-channel support mastery: Respond to high-priority phone, chat, and ticket requests from Premier Customers while educating them on advanced Datadog features and best practices.
  • Customer relationship building: Develop deep technical partnerships with enterprise accounts, gaining intimate knowledge of their unique cloud environments and use cases.
  • Integration expertise: Reproduce and troubleshoot issues across Datadog's 600+ integrations including AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and custom APIs.
  • Knowledge creation: Author comprehensive documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles covering modern cloud technologies.
  • Product advocacy: Identify customer pain points and drive feature requests directly to Datadog product teams based on real-world usage patterns.
  • Health check leadership: Lead routine technical health check meetings ensuring Premier Customers achieve maximum platform ROI.
  • Demo delivery: Create and present customized technical demonstrations at customer cadence calls, conferences, and industry events.
  • Escalation management: Make critical technical decisions while knowing when to escalate to engineering for deepest platform issues.
  • Continuous contribution: Participate in side projects enhancing Datadog's support capabilities and customer experience.

Qualifications & Requirements
