As a Premier Support Engineer (PSE), you'll dive deep into customer environments, troubleshoot complex issues across 1,000+ integrations, and drive product conversations that shape the future of observability.

This hybrid role requires 3-5 days per week in our Mexico City office, fostering the collaboration and creativity that define Datadog culture. You'll work directly with enterprise customers via phone, chat, tickets, cadence calls, demos, and conferences. Key Responsibilities at Datadog

  • Respond rapidly to Premier Customer requests across phone, chat, and ticket channels while educating on advanced Datadog platform capabilities
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with key customers, gaining intimate knowledge of their unique cloud environments
  • Reproduce and troubleshoot complex technical issues spanning Datadog's 1,000+ integrations including AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, and more
  • Create high-quality documentation and knowledge base articles covering diverse technologies and use cases
  • Drive meaningful product conversations by identifying customer pain points and unmet needs during support interactions
  • Lead routine health check meetings to proactively optimize customer Datadog deployments
  • Deliver technical demos, presentations at conferences, and participate in customer cadence calls
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and sales teams on escalations and feature requests
  • Maintain rotating schedule availability including weekends to ensure 24/7 Premier Customer coverage

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as a Technical Support Engineer 2, Premier at Datadog, you'll need:

  • 2+ years experience delivering multi-channel technical support at a SaaS company
  • Proven expertise with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
  • Hands-on programming experience with strong Linux fundamentals and tinkerer mentality
  • Prior Premium/Enterprise technical support role experience
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure monitoring solutions and observability best practices
  • Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English
  • Self-motivated critical thinker with client-first problem-solving approach
  • Comfortable making decisions while knowing when to escalate appropriately
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with weekend schedule rotation
