What the Role Entails
Position Overview
Tencent Finance is seeking a proactive and analytical Procurement Risk Manager to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will lead and support risk control initiatives across indirect procurement categories such as marketing, HR, and professional services. Your mission is to strengthen our procurement risk framework, streamline internal controls, and ensure supplier compliance across business units.
This opportunity is especially suitable for candidates with a background in procurement audit or enterprise risk—such as those from Big 4 advisory or internal audit teams—who are looking to move in-house and directly influence procurement operations and policy. Responsibilities
Assess procurement processes and vendor governance across key indirect spend categories; identify risks and propose targeted improvement plans.
Conduct and deliver supplier compliance reviews, vendor due diligence, and onsite inspections as needed.
Develop cost analysis models and evaluate price benchmarks to identify sourcing and savings opportunities.
Draft, implement, and refine internal procurement policies, SOPs, and risk control standards.
Act as an advisor to internal stakeholders on procurement risk, supplier management, and compliance issues.
Support and lead procurement-related audits, collaborate with internal audit and legal teams on risk mitigation and improvement tracking.
Drive procurement risk awareness and control education through internal training sessions and policy workshops.
Monitor market and regulatory developments relevant to procurement compliance and incorporate findings into internal frameworks.

Who We Look For
Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline. Procurement or audit certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CERM) are preferred.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement risk, compliance, internal control, or external audit, with a strong track record in managing indirect procurement categories (marketing, HR, services, etc.).
Experience in procurement risk advisory or audit within a Big 4 or professional consulting firm is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of procurement operations, cost control models, and risk assessment methodologies.
Familiar with corporate risk management frameworks; COSO experience preferred.
Strong project management and analytical skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple initiatives.
