Platform & Content Group (PCG) is responsible for the company's Internet platform and the integrated development of the content and culture ecosystem. PCG integrates social platforms such as QQ and QZone with traffic platforms such as Tencent's App Store and browsers, as well as content platforms including news, videos, sports, live broadcasts, animes and movies to develop a better growth environment for Tencent's content ecosystem. PCG promotes the cross-platform and multi-modal development of IP, with the overall goal of creating more diversified premium digital content experiences for more users.
What the Role Entails
Responsibilities:1. Reporting on finance, macroeconomics, and technology news in the North American region
2. Building and maintaining networks within North America's financial, macroeconomic, and tech sectors
Who We Look For
Qualifications:1. Over 5 years of professional experience reporting in finance, macroeconomics, or technology for reputable media outlets
2. Strong capabilities in sourcing, interviewing, and writing; a well-established network and experience in North American political, economic, and financial sectors
3. Excellent command of English, capable of conducting in-depth interviews and conversations independently
4. Priority given to candidates with recognized industry influence and bylines
5. Passionate about journalism, resilient, committed, and responsible, with the ability to live and work long-term in Palo Alto or New York

The expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $79,600.00 to $149,200.00 per year. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Employees hired for this position may be eligible for a sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the plans in effect, hired applicants are also eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits, and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan. The Employee is also eligible for up to 15 to 25 days of vacation per year (depending on the employee’s tenure), up to 13 days of holidays throughout the calendar year, and up to 10 days of paid sick leave per year.
