The Territory Development Supervisor TDS role in Zhengzhou, Henan, is pivotal for driving business growth in assigned markets and accounts. This position involves selling and executing territory initiatives while coaching frontline sales teams to elevate execution quality. Reporting to area leadership, you'll collaborate with key accounts and distributors to introduce new products, implement promotions, and uphold the highest merchandising standards. Lead efforts to sell new products, promotions, and merchandising initiatives to key accounts and distributors. Ensure every store in your territory meets PepsiCo's Gold Merchandising Standard (GMS) for maximum visibility and sales impact. Proactively discuss and provide lists of potential accounts suitable for direct service from distribution centers (DC). Actively open new A&B stores to expand PepsiCo's footprint, escalating any key account execution issues for swift area unit support.
Partner with market development representatives (MD) to deliver targeted coaching and one-on-one feedback. Conduct effective weekly team meetings to align on goals, share insights, and boost performance. Your leadership will empower frontline teams to achieve superior execution, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
To succeed in this role, candidates need 3-5 years of proven sales experience, including time in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. Experience in both developing new business/turnarounds and managing stable large accounts is essential. A college degree or above is required, along with strong negotiation and professional selling skills. Proficiency in sales planning, time management, and data analysis is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate strong execution, team collaboration, passion, quick learning, Mandarin fluency (English a plus), and solid Microsoft Office skills.
