RESUME AND JOB
PepsiCo
PepsiCo is a global leader in the food and beverage industry, boasting the world's largest portfolio of billion-dollar brands including Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Gatorade, Pure Leaf, Lipton, and Starbucks. As a Fortune 50 company, PepsiCo continues to grow, offering unmatched stability and opportunities for professionals seeking impactful careers. Joining PepsiCo means becoming part of a winning culture where your unique contributions fuel global impact. With a supportive environment that encourages authenticity, professional development, and purpose-driven performance, PepsiCo stands out as an employer of choice for ambitious sales talent.
The Territory Sales Representative position at PepsiCo in Wichita, Kansas, is a dynamic professional sales role where you'll be the face of PepsiCo in your assigned geography. This full-time opportunity offers a target pay of $28.20 per hour, translating to competitive annual earnings with bonus potential. You'll manage a diverse customer base, from small convenience stores and dollar stores to large supermarkets and mass merchants. No two days are the same, providing task variety, route growth opportunities, and the chance to leverage industry-leading technology. With early morning starts (as early as 4 am), occasional evenings, and weekends, this role demands flexibility but rewards with comprehensive benefits from Day 1, including medical, vision, dental, retirement plans, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.
As a Territory Sales Representative, your core duties focus on driving revenue, share, and profit growth while delivering superior customer service. You'll own communications with store owners, managers, and buyers across all account types. In small format and low-volume accounts, manage full sales cycles including upselling, writing orders, and inventory oversight per customer contracts. For large format accounts, lead incremental selling initiatives and collaborate with Merchandiser 'pods' for in-store execution.
Develop and motivate Merchandisers to excel in order submission, customer service, display execution, and inventory management. Communicate display needs and product requirements to ensure seamless preparation. Partner with Key Account Managers and Territory Sales Leads to target key performance metrics like revenue, share, waste, and profit.
Monitor contract compliance, especially in small accounts under Pepsi's Customer Development Agreement. Sell annual agreements, holiday promotions, and initiatives. Execute marketplace promotions, ensure product is available, rotated, and priced correctly, and cultivate strong customer relationships to tailor sales strategies.
PepsiCo provides training, but candidates must meet essential minimums: be 18 years or older, possess a valid U.S. driver's license with proof of insurance, have access to a car for multi-store visits, and hold indefinite right to work in the United States. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments, lift up to 40 lbs. periodically, and embrace flexible scheduling. Prior sales experience is advantageous but not required, as PepsiCo's robust development programs build your skills.
PepsiCo offers an exceptional benefits package for full-time U.S. employees, available from Day 1 and extending to eligible family members, domestic partners, and children (varying by location, tenure, agreements, and status). Highlights include comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage; company-provided retirement benefits; paid time off; bonus eligibility; tuition reimbursement; and mileage reimbursement. These perks underscore PepsiCo's commitment to employee well-being and long-term success.
This role is a launchpad for career advancement at PBNA. Gain experience developing others, expand your route, and participate in robust employee development programs. PepsiCo's size, brand portfolio depth, and breadth of customers—from national chains to local independents—provide unparalleled opportunities to build expertise. Move into leadership, key account management, or broader sales roles as you grow with a company that invests in your professional journey.
