Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician at Tesco, you’ll play a vital part in helping keep our stores safe, functional and welcoming for colleagues and customers.

You’ll join a friendly, supportive team carrying out a variety of planned and reactive maintenance tasks that keep our operations running smoothly every day.

The Hiring Manager for this vacancy is Chris Legeyt 

  • Working confidently with external contractors, coordinating repairs
  • Collaborating with colleagues and share knowledge as part of a supportive team
  • Managing your workload effectively and stay organised
  • Supporting the management team by helping maintain equipment and facilities
  • Planning and carrying out repairs with minimal disruption to customers
  • Carrying out day‑to‑day store and property maintenance
  • Following planned work schedules and aim for first‑time fixes
  • Using simple digital tools (phone/tablet) to manage tasks and updates
  • A willingness to learn and build new skills
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to high standards
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Confidence using digital tools such as tablets or smartphones
  • A full driving licence
