Job Summary:
This will be a significant role which will bridge the processes between Buying teams, Suppliers and other Teams in Tesco to enable 
effective Product journey. Support the Buying Manager in executing category buying activities, ensuring smooth supplier engagement, 
accurate system updates, and timely delivery of trade plans and range changes.
In this job, I’m accountable for:
Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence and have these specific risk responsibilities: 
- Engagement with suppliers for Promotions, product setup and commercial income, including onboarding and induction processes.
- Manage promotion submissions and event setup on myProduct: Promotion (mPP), including supplier invitations, space allocation, and 
validation checks.
- Track and resolve promo validation fallouts and ensure compliance with pricing, funding, and HFSS guidelines.
- Support range change execution, including drafting product lists, requesting samples, and managing planogram builds with SRM.
- Managing commercial income by forecasting and actualising deals on myPrioduct: Deals
- Handle system transactions: induction approvals, TPNB mapping, artwork tracking, and online taxonomy updates.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure availability and timely ordering for new and promotional lines.
- Maintain supplier relationships, manage queries, and assist in negotiation-driven product swaps when aligned with buyer.
- Publish weekly and periodic reports on trade plan and range performance.
- Drive continuous improvement (CI) by identifying process efficiencies and supporting innovation initiatives. alternatives

- Complete Retail Knowledge
- Influencing Price negotiations with the supplier 
- Ability to make decisions under pressure 
- Excellent communication skills 
- Problem Solving 
- Familiarity with Procurement process 
- Fundamentals of Forecasting and Predictive analytics
