- Experience in writing SQL queries for relational databases (experience)
- Passion for leveraging technology to scale business processes (experience)
- Flexibility with nominal non-standard working hours for month-end close (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with payment processing platforms such as Stripe or Adyen is a plus (experience)
- CPA is a plus (experience)
Responsibilities
- Contribute to accurate and timely recording of financial transactions for multiple entities, focusing on incoming customer payments
- Review metrics and journal entries to detect and resolve potential errors
- Reconcile bank deposits to customer accounts receivable balances
- Research unusual transactions to determine appropriate accounting treatment
- Author SQL queries to analyze, match, and reconcile large datasets from multiple sources
- Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with departments such as IT, Business Information, and Payment Processing to implement automated solutions
- Work closely with key contacts in other finance departments, including Revenue, Billing, and Order Operations, for cross-functional initiatives
