Job Description
Consider before submitting an application:This position is expected to start January 2026 and continue through the entire Spring 2026 term (through April/May 2026). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks at 40 hours per week, for this internship. International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. Again, please do not apply until you know you can work 40 hours per week. This is required for external applicants. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.Internship Program at TeslaThe Internship Recruiting Team is driven by the passion to recognize emerging talent. We provide an experience that allows for the intern to experience life at Tesla by giving them projects that are critical to their team’s success. - ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues in TCP/IP networkintermediate
- familiar with major programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Rust, or Javaintermediate

- fluent in a mobile app or reactive web framework required, with preference for React Native and TypeScriptintermediate
- fluent in full stack web languages and tools. JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React preferred and GraphQL is a plusintermediate

- comfortable with hands-on lab work (including the use of scopes/logic analyzers, power supplies, electronic loads, CAN tools, soldering irons as needed to support integration)intermediate

- experience with JSON, Protobuf, REST, HTTP/S, Ethernet, CANintermediate
- experience working with high power (50kW+) and/or high voltage (1kVDC, 480VAC) productsintermediate

- GUI development experience (either web-based or standalone or e.g. Dash or pyqt)intermediate

- Currently pursuing a Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field (degree in mechatronics)
