Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a journeyman electrician in industrial or commercial settings (experience, 5 years)
• Proficiency in sizing conductors and conduits and using the NEC Code Book (experience)
• Experience handling electrical systems from low to high voltage up to 480 VAC; medium voltage experience is a plus (experience)
• Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics (experience)
• Capability to test and commission work according to Tesla procedures and building department codes (experience)
• Strong knowledge of job site safety, with the ability to evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning, focusing on electrical hazards and safety procedures (experience)
• Ability to work at heights up to 80 ft. (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• medium voltage experience is a plus (experience)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the construction team to install power distribution systems, transformers, lighting, temporary construction power, and electrical equipment up to 480 VAC inclusive of factory renovation and new installations
• Maintain and troubleshoot various electrical components
• Interpret and use complex electrical schematics and blueprints to plan, install, and improve electrical systems
• Consult manuals and read project electrical drawings to perform and plan work scopes
• Execute a wide variety of electrical tasks and provide timely feedback
