Job Description
As a Construction Mechanical Insulator at Tesla will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects and tasks, including duct insulation, pipe insulation, and building insulation. A well-qualified applicant should have experience in various aspects of commercial and industrial insulation. You will also be required to work alongside other trades as a team and participate in the training of new employees.

- Strong job site safety knowledge, hazard evaluation, and pre-work task planning (experience)
- Ability to work at elevations up to 80 ft. (experience)
- Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, ability to work independently, and experience with various insulation systems, metal jacketing, blanketing, and fabrication (experience)
- Willingness to trave (experience)
- An understanding of the many types of HVAC insulation systems for both pipe and ductwork as well as fiberglass building insulation (experience)
- Have a passion for working on a variety of insulation systems (experience)
- Be willing to stop unsafe actions and have a positive safety attitude (experience)
- Ability to complete job scopes outside of normal core competencies (experience)
