Required Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience working in automotive troubleshooting and repair (experience, 3 years)
• Technical certification from accredited automotive training institution preferred (certification)
• Equipped with own tools (experience)
• Ability to operate and maintain shop tools and equipment as well as operate and maintain various hand and power tools (experience)
• Willing to work a flexible schedule as well as the ability to travel (experience)
• Work independently and/or collaboratively as part of a team (experience)
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines (experience)
• Show attention to detail and accuracy (experience)
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities/schedules (experience)
• Excellent communication and written skills combined with Microsoft Office proficiency (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification from accredited automotive training institution preferred (certification)

Responsibilities

• General fleet maintenance and repair
• Retrofit/modify prototype vehicles to accept new hardware designs from engineering
• Diagnose and repair failures found with prototypes
• Provide failure analysis and design concerns back to engineering
