Required Qualifications

• Technical background and troubleshooting knowledge (experience)
• Strong communication skills and ability to build strong partnerships across various organizations within Tesla (experience)
• Ability to work independently and keep on task in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision (experience)
• Must be detail orientated, reliable, have good initiative, determination, and quality focused (experience)
• Ability to perform repetitious duties while standing for long periods (experience)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (experience)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a forklift (experience)

Responsibilities

• receiving and confirming defective material
• diligently tracking parts
• troubleshooting
• dispositioning material
• Developing relationships with other cross-functional departments to drive disposition of parts
• evaluating the concern versus the return
• Perform database transactions to manage the tracking, receiving, storing of failed parts
• Systematically marking parts special interest for expedited return to engineers and technicians
• Route parts back to Suppliers, Quality Engineering, or Recycling based on guidance and instructions
• Maintain data integrity, accuracy and efficiency of defect material throughput and systematically logging information
• Provide data input and output reports to assist in driving improvements
• Conduct audits and support corrective actions based on defect reason
• Disposition defect material and sort material by viewing work instructions
