Test Engineer (Protection System) will be responsible for testing of Control and Relay panels used for various voltage levels in India and Abroad for different applications.
The incumbent will be responsible for different project of phases like understanding the client requirement, understanding of project specific documents, preparation of configuration various numerical relays based on approved documents, testing of the same and inspection with customer in factory, support to Project Management/ Engineering/ Commissioning team for smooth execution of the Project.
Candidate Profile :
- Knowledge & understanding on various wiring schematic drawings
- Understanding of Power system protection philosophy & their application.
- Hands on experience of configuration of various type of Numerical IED’s (SIEMENS, ABB, GE, Schneider.)
- Hands on experience on various test kits like OMICRON, DOBLE, Megger etc.
- Working experience of integration of Numerical IED’s with Substation Automation system
- Understanding of client requirement / technical specification
- Basic Knowledge on Substation Automation and Communication Protocols like SNMP, SNTP, Modbus, IEC60870-5-103, IEC61850, IEC60870-5-101 and IEC60870-5-104
- Basic concepts of Digital substation techniques
- Capability to handle customer FAT independently
- Excellent Communication Skills both written and verbal
- Basic/Advance knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point etc.
- Critical thinking, reasoning and problem solving are an essential part of this position.
- Candidate shall be a good team player, agile, resilient, and sincere
- Enjoy learning new things and build knowledge base in new area.
- Additional expertise in new technology domains like Cyber security, Digitalization trends will be preferred.
- Collaborating for new solutions and technologies required in the business to drive new product and offerings
