Business Development Manager Export (m/w/d)

Your mission:

  • Create and maintain relations to customers

  • Take responsibility to setup and capture opportunities through actions

  • Define the international sales strategy for opportunities

  • Act as reliable contact person to ensure customer satisfaction and interface for multi-country Thales units in close cooperation with the centralized export sales team and local Country Directors (CD) or Key Account Managers (KAM)

  • Act as leader in the capture and bid phases of dedicated opportunities, including generation of follow-on orders out of existing contracts

  • Manage involvement of Thales external local partners in close cooperation with relevant local Thales units

  • Manage export sales forecasts

  • Take responsibility for application of the internal and external reporting according to Thales processes



We look forward to:

  • Operational military background in radar and/or optronic applications

  • Several years of professional experience in bid management or export sales

  • Experience with military customers and organizations

  • English language fluently is mandatory

  • German and/or French language is of advantage

  • Technical knowledge, affinity and willingness to learn

  • Solid knowledge in IT applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Project, PowerPoint, Excel
