Fresh-Out (New Graduate) DES Artificial intelligence Trainee

Position Summary
Thales is looking for a Fresh-Out DES Artificial intelligence Trainee who is eager to work with real-world use cases to apply AI techniques. This position offers a unique opportunity to address real world challenges by leveraging cutting edge AI techniques, including automation, scripting, and prompt engineering, to enhance various internal process from different domains such as Operations, DevOps, project management and Quality Assurance. The trainee will integrate new AI models, tools, and techniques into our existing AI framework, ensuring alignment with current processes, tools, and practices. 

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Work with real datasets and gain hands-on experience in AI model implementation
• Research on AI methods and tools and apply them to real use cases
• Implement and document AI applications
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders, understand requirements, propose solutions, receive feedback and apply changes accordingly. 
• Provide timely technical support to the project, Review and analyze test protocols, Attend planning meetings, Deliver test results at meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

• RECENT graduate (2025 - 2024) in software engineering, computer science, aeronautics engineering, electronics and telecommunications engineering or any relevant field; and / or equivalent experience. Bachelors, Masters o PhD recent graduates.
• Full time availability (40 hours per week).
• Python Programming, AI tools and techniques.
• Programming Languages: Master languages like Python 
• Basic understanding of data processing and analysis, including visualization tools 
• Fundamental knowledge of machine learning algorithms
• knowledge of Data Visualization tools (Power Bi),  Big Data & Cloud Platforms, Math and Statistics (strong foundation in statistical analysis and modeling), Programing in R for data analysis and model development, machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling, AI tools (MindFlow, n8n, google, OpenAI, LLM ecosystems and APIs), DevOps tools (Atlassian Confluence, Jira, Gitlab, Service Now)
• Intermediate-advanced English proficiency, oral and written.
• Strong communicator and negotiator, analytical, results-oriented, customer-oriented, a strong time manager, autonomous, honest, and empathetic, strong focus on helping customers and ensuring their satisfaction.
