JOB DESCRIPTION

The owner of the role is responsible for building financial and commercial offers.
The owner completes orders to close deals.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in institutional sales within the space or defense sector (experience)
  • Proven track record in building financial and commercial offers (experience)
  • Demonstrated ability to complete orders and close deals (experience)
  • Knowledge of ESA (European Space Agency) procurement processes (experience)
  • Understanding of Italian institutional markets and regulations (experience)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (experience)
  • Minimum 5-7 years in sales management roles (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Thales or Leonardo (experience)
  • Fluency in Italian and English (experience)
  • Previous exposure to Joint Ventures in aerospace (experience)
  • MBA or advanced degree in relevant field (experience)
  • International sales experience in Europe (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Build financial and commercial offers for ESA and Italian institutional clients
  • Complete orders to close sales deals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with governments, institutions, and space agencies
  • Drive sales strategies for telecommunications, navigation, Earth Observation, and exploration programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-tech space solutions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Italy and ESA frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
