Title :Field Support Engineer: technical and operational on-site support (UAE & French Nationals Only)

Location: Abu Dhabi

Job Objective :

The Technical Assistant is part of Falcon Eye on-site operational support team
and supports customer’s daily operations and maintenance on MINDS Falcon
Eye system activities. He/she is also the local point of contact for UAE AF
regarding IMINT subjects and is located full-time at customers’ premises.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Technical and operational on-site support to the UAE AF
• Point of contact for UAE AF regarding IMINT
• TSIX representative towards UAE AF IAC team and globally DISA for MINDS related subjects (SLA, enhancements, MINDS roadmap)
• Support to UAE AF IAC on the job training
• Support to IAC and globally DISA proposal definition
• Preparation and coordination of on-site interventions
• Contribution to the promotion of MINDS among UAE by
• supporting factory teams
• performing demo when requested
• contributing to dedicated meetings with customer
• on-call duties on request to support customer

Work Experience Requirements:

• IT support
• Previous experience operating/supporting operations on
• MINDS/SAIM system is a plus
• AI competencies is a plus
• Work in international environment
• Imagery knowledge

Qualification, Certification & Educational Requirements:

Master degree in computer science or GIS or remote sensing or related
field

Preferred Skills:

• Good communication skills (internal & external with customer)
• Proficiency in English and French (Arabic is a plus)
• High level of autonomy
• Problem solving mindset
• Troubleshooting
• Reporting efficiency
• Adaptability

HSE Responsibilities:

• Ensure both your own safety and the safety of others at all times.
• Maintain an active role in achieving the objectives and adhering to the HSE Thales Policy
• Comply with local HSE laws and legislation.
• To use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended.
• Lead by example and actively encourage departments to look at ways to conserve water & energy, minimize the generation of waste, and encourage recycling.
