Job Description
Thales Business Support Services (TBSS) acts as a Shared Service Center for Thales Group by serving a number of countries for various key tasks associated to finance and accounting processes.
About the job
As a General Ledger Accountant you will have the opportunity to join one of our teams and perform several key tasks:
Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information.
Performing audits on financial data to assure its accuracy and truthfulness.
Ensuring that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards.
Aligning general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting.
Entering financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as preparing reports.
Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
Reconciling accounts with the general ledger.
Gathering supporting documentation and performing record keeping.
Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.
About you
You are graduated in Accounting, Management, Economics (or in a similar area);
You have previous experience working with General Ledger processes;
You have a good sense of relationship and strong interpersonal qualities (to be able to manage relationships with different cultures within units).
You are able to show us good organizational skills and communication is not a problem for you.
You have knowledge of English (although you’ll have support for improving language skills).

Salary
30,000 - 45,000 EUR / yearly
