Job Description
Lieu : Herstal, Belgium
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing detailed drawings and assembly drawings 3D modeling
- Creates 3D in Creo and 2D drawings in windchill for multiple product lines
Main tasks:
- Providing 3D models and 2D DRW’s according the general design rules (e.g; form & place tolerances, material indications, …)
- Transforms initial rough product designs or sketches into working models and documents
- Utilizes knowledge of various machining technologies, engineering best practices, mathematics, materials, … to complete drawings
- Perform minor design updates or any necessary changes to existing models or drawings
- Maintains/ adapts relationships of models and drawing files in an organized fashion
- Aligns the development of 2D and 3D drawings with the design engineering lead
Profile:
- You have a bachelor degree, domain of mechanical engineering, with minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a draftsman role
- Preferably you live in a range of 45 min from the site of Herstal
- Experience in Defence, Aerospace or Automotive industry is a plus
- Experience with Creo and Windchill is mandatory
- Self-motivated, taking ownership and driving topics to fulfill your deadlines
- You are a team player, good interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in French and proficient in English
