OUR TEAM

Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development, we produce some of the world’s most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.

YOUR ROLE

• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and internal resources to achieve successful project outcomes

• Support site maintenance team in executing infrastructure related activities

• Manage small projects independently

• Preparation of key documents to support activities e.g. JSEAs, risk assessments, permits to work, etc.

• Plan site works and manage risk in accordance with Thales procedures

• Assist project engineers in preparing specifications and contracts, and assessing tenders 

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Mechanical, electrical, construction trade or engineering qualifications

• Experience supervising trade/construction work; preparing JSEA/SWMS

• Proficient in MS Office - Primavera desirable

• Contract management and handling variations

• Construction industry White card

• Current driver’s license
