Your mission as "Radar Signal Processing and Algorithm Engineer (m/f/d)":

  • Design, implement, and refine radar signal processing algorithms, including clutter suppression, detection, target tracking, classification, and micro-Doppler analysis.

  • Enhance and adapt existing algorithms for robust, real-time performance on embedded or low-power platforms.

  • Develop theory-driven test procedures ensuring comprehensive IVVQ (Integration, Verification, Validation, Qualification), supporting solid verification of system performance.

  • Validate algorithms against both simulated and real-world data, systematically improving performance based on analysis of field results.

  • Collaborate closely with IVVQ, systems, and software teams to ensure high-quality, reliable algorithm deployment.

  • Support development of hardware-in-the-loop testing capability to accelerate algorithm validation in real-world scenarios

  • Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for signal processing algorithm development and analysis.

  • Knowledge of clutter suppression, advanced detection theory, tracking, classification, or micro-Doppler processing is a strong plus.

  • Ability to validate and refine algorithms using simulation tools and field data.

  • ‘Whiteboard’-style technical communication and teamwork skills.

  • Non-negotiable willingness to learn new things and push the envelope.
