The Role: Rigger

Opportunity for a Rigger / Dogman to join our team based in Garden Island. You will be required to undertake multi skilled activities in all aspects of ship repair. You will also be responsible for the below:

• Undertake rigging work inboard of vessel, Light & Heavy Engineering.
• Undertake rigging work external of vessel, Light & Heavy Engineering.
• Undertake rigging work Light & Heavy Engineering within a Workshop Environment.
• Capable of undertake rigging equipment inspections for fit for use.
• Capable of undertake rigging but not limited to Awkward Shaped Loads & Heavy Lifts, (Bow-Thruster’s, Propellers, Propeller Blades & Propeller Shafts and Rudders etc)
• Capable of Mentoring others, including Mentoring Labour Hire workforce.
• Work with Forklifts, EWP's, WAH, Mobile & Portal Cranes as a Dogman / Rigger

Your Skills:

• Must be eligible for a Defence Security Clearance and/or if candidate may need to be ITAR cleared.. Australian Citizenship is mandatory
• Occasional interstate travel may be required.
• Overseas travel May be required
• Drivers License – Class C
• Undertake training as directed and/or for compliance purposes
