Location: Hengelo, Netherlands

About the team
For our Sales Team in Thales NL Naval we are looking for a Director Sales Services. Thales NL Naval is a supplier of Naval systems serving more than 25 navies across the world. The Director Sales Services will lead a team of eight Service Sales Managers who are responsible for service sales in their region. The Service Sales team is supported by a team of Service Support specialists who manage the service proposals as well as service contracts. Navy systems generally are exposed to a rough oceanic environment and are expected to last up to 40 years in this environment. The services required to keep the naval systems operational vary from health checks and spares to overhauls, upgrades and complete in-Service Support or Performance Based Logistics contract.


About your future job

You will lead the team of Service Sales managers and be part of the Thales NL Sales Management Team. Together with the Service Sales Managers and the Product Segment Services team you translate our service strategy into the Service Sales Strategy per region and align this with the worldwide Thales Sales Network, regional service centers and in-country partners. Thales NL has a significant installed base across the world exceeding 5B€ of systems and with the increasing operational demand especially in Europe, we’re strongly growing in services. We have the ambition to grow even more our service business and we are looking for a Sales Director Services that can deliver the sales contribution to this objective.


Director Service Sales:

  • Manage and develop the Service Sales managers.
  • Define and manage the Service Sales strategy.
  • Market our Services with our customer and our Service offers in the Thales International ecosystem. Set service objectives and report on monthly base on these
  • Contribute to improvement of our service delivery processes
