Thales Corporate Engineering is developing a portfolio of digital applications and services to facilitate engineers and engineering managers in data driven decision making and insights based on data coming from different sources (e.g. engineering, bids & projects, finance, quality, HR, …). 

To improve our development efficiency and effectiveness, this mission involves everything from developing applications to technically leading other team members in the, recently created, International Development Federation.

This mission is an exciting opportunity to help shape our international collaboration and capitalize on our diversity as we develop, deploy and maintain a wide range of applications.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead the UI development of software solutions.

• Participate in defining the User Stories and Technical Stories related to the product roadmap to achieve technical cohesion.

• Facilitate technical sessions with the team to select future technical choices to be implemented in the product.

• Investigate potential issues by conducting studies on the future selected technical choices.

• Ensure the quality of product deliveries made by the team.

• Support the team in growing their technical knowledge.

• Share expertise with the other team members in order to grow together as one team

• Provide valuable input for the team’s continuous improvement by contributing to the technical & functional roadmaps.

• Set and apply best practices (both development and operational best practices), code quality, security standard and corresponding KPIs

• Actively contribute to the technical solution definition and improvements.

• Contribute to Agile ceremonies (Backlog refinement – Validation of user story estimation, DoR & DoD within the scope of action, sprint reviews, etc.)
