- Experience with Thales products or similar avionics systems (experience)
- Certification in systems engineering (e.g., INCOSE CSEP) (experience)
- Familiarity with defense acquisition processes (experience)
- Prior leadership of engineering teams (experience)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of aerospace systems
- Define and manage system requirements throughout the lifecycle
- Conduct system integration and verification activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and test engineers
- Perform risk analysis and mitigation for system-level issues
- Support certification and qualification processes
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements
