OUR TEAM

Our Explosive Ordnance Services team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. As a turnkey solution, we offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating huge opportunities for growth.

Within our logistics services business there are 17+ depots throughout Australia, allowing various development and progression opportunities.

YOUR ROLE

Thales Australia is seeking a dedicated Stocktaker to join our team in HMAS Stirling WA. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with experience in warehousing and inventory management.

Working from the HMAS Stirling base, on Meandup land, your role purpose will be

• Operating the inventory management system

• Conducting research and investigations as required, interrogating stock history to complete investigations

• Involvement with stock counting

• Building and maintaining a good working relationship with all staff members within the logistic services business

• Demonstrate a personal commitment to all matters relating to health and safety

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Good knowledge and experience in stocktaking and warehouse processes

• Excellent attention to detail with very good numeric, oral and written communication skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

• Previous experience within the Defence / Logistics industry would be highly advantageous
